Bearden's

I hung out at Beardons on rocky river drive when I was 16 and up. It was a great place to go and find your friends there too enjoying the atmosphere and the food, and the carhops were great !!

Love this place.
Great burgers, fries, and atmosphere.
There is a train that circles above the seating area in the restaurant and it's a great place to bring your children to keep them occupied while eating.
They'll never get bored with Bearden's fries and milkshakes.
I have been coming to this restaurant with my grandfather for years and I highly recommend it for families!

The burgers at this place far outweigh any other issues. While the decor can seem a little creepy, it's worth it for the food!

This restaurant is a fun and delicious trip back to the fifties. Huge, juicy burgers which are seldom seen any more are readily available. Go and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

There is not a place I have ate a burger at in my life that rivals Beardens. I have been eating at Beardens since I was a little kid and still love it. There isn't much more I can say, I haven't eaten really anything else there that I can remember, LOL. The little kids like the train, most adults find it annoying but it reminds me of when I was a little kid, it was the only West Side Restaurant we would go to.

This is our grandson's favorite - and we get a kick out of it ourselves. Great burgers and fries, onion rings, shakes. A paradise for kids and we kids at heart.

The burgers are fine. The shakes are yummy. The train they run when the kids ask is cool. But the onion rings are reason to swim over from the Canadian shore if necessary. Huge batter couriers, the rings are fried circles of goodness.

If you didn't go here as a kid you missed the best part of childhoodgreat hamburgers, onion rings and chocolate MALTS. You gotta try it. Best little place in River.

I just went to Bearden's for the first time and thought the food was delicious (huge, juicy hamburgers that lived up to its reputation and fame) and the prices were good. The service was okay - the check was given to us halfway through the meal without even asking if we wanted dessert, which gave me the impression they wanted to clear us out fast and make room for next diners. I like long, leisurely meals and not to be rushed.

PROS: Non-smoking atmosphere
CONS:

I haven't lived in Cleveland as long as my husband but even I've heard of Bearden's Restaurant. Their burgers are supposed to be 'out of this world'. more...
